Chabot College Promise Free 学费
The Chabot College Promise offers free tuition to first-time, full-time students for their 1st and 2nd year, while meeting eligibility requirements.
What Does it Cover?
The Chabot College Promise Program:
- Covers only the $46 per unit enrollment/tuition fee at Chabot College.
It does not cover:
- Student fees.
- Books, supplies and materials fees required for classes.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, a Chabot College student must meet these requirements:

Office must receive FAFSA or Dream Act Application by 8月1日st, 2024.

Must enroll in 12 or more units and complete 12 units per semester.
For Fall 2024 incoming students, it means Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 - Spring 2026. -
Must be a First Time college student, and not have attended any other institution of higher education. Excludes prior concurrent enrollment students, and any summer enrollment.
- Students who were not a part of a concurrent enrollment program or students who participated in dual enrollment must submit an official high school transcript to the college.

Must be a California resident or AB 540 student.

There is no income requirement.

There is no minimum high school GPA requirement.
How Does it Work

提交 FAFSA or CA Dream Act before August 1st, 2024 deadline.

Complete and meet all Chabot College Promise Program requirements.

Incoming students completing the previous steps will automatically be considered for the Chabot College Promise, and will receive either:
- The California College Promise Grant (CCPG) fee waiver;
- OR, the Chabot College Promise for free college tuition.
- Must successfully complete a minimum of 12 units in the current semester to be considered for the following semester award (excluding summer semester).
- Students who will be awarded the Chabot Promise will not see a balance change until after the Census date, September 3rd. Before we disburse the Chabot Promise we will review and update each student's enrollment level to ensure each class has been paid for, excluding student fees. Again, students who pay off their enrollment fees before the Chabot Promise has been disbursed can request a refund only after the grant has been applied and a negative balance appears. Refund requests must be made through the Admissions and Record Office.
